I think Mike Tyson said it best, when he said, “everyone has a plan, until you get punched in the mouth.”
And that is so true.
We have plans to be successful in our right. Some of us reach success easier and more often than others. But I believe that our success is dependent upon solving a problem.
It is not until we find ourselves in trouble, in a quagmire, facing a dilemma or up the creek without a paddle that we realize our true capacities. Scientifically speaking, when you’re facing a stressful situation, your body will automatically respond by increasing your adrenaline causing your heartbeat to speed up and your senses to become sharper. And it is in these heightened situations that we are able to test the true ability of ourselves. Depending upon our results, these same heightened and stressful situations are the stepping stones to our success.
“Sometimes adversity is what you need to face in order to become successful.”
