Monday Morning Motivation 2.9.15

If-you-want-to-achieve-greatness-then-stop-asking-for-permission_blog

For some of us, Monday signifies the start of a new beginning. A new week of obstacles and opportunities. A new week of hurdles and highlights. A new week to motivate ourselves to the end goal. But our best motivation doesn’t come from others, but from within ourselves.

Most people run away from greatness, because of their fear of standing alone. Most people won’t produce greatness, because they fear what their friends will say. Most people won’t become great, because they do not want to put in the work. To be great means to sacrifice the little things, so that you can relish in the big moment. To be great requires you to work while others sleep. To be great requires a high-level of self confidence in your abilities. Anyone who is great, or has achieved something great did so by their own merits, despite the adversity and opinions of others. Sometimes you need some help along the way, and that’s okay, but the beginning stages of greatness is an internal process. No one will tell you when the time is right, as that is your decision. Sometimes our season of greatness is now, and sometimes our season of greatness is deferred. Whichever season you are in, put your time, talents and treasures to the test, and don’t ask others for permission.

Be Great!
